Minute Files

Each camera in the AllSky7 system records HD and SD video streams to a new file every minute of the day. This minute based segmentation strategy simplifies processing and managing the data.

Stack Images

Stacks are images that show the brightest and darkest pixels recorded over a period of time. Bright objects in stacks appear as streaks or lines and show the object's movement over time. Stacks can be used to represent a few seconds, a minute or longer, like an hour, a night or even many nights. We organize stacks by minute and hour and have group stacks for night, day, dawn and dusk.
